Grants to Tribal-serving, Indigenous-led, and community-based organizations

About

Strengthening the capacity of organizations to advance collaboration, planning, and actions across southern California with a focus on uplifting and supporting Indigenous, Tribal, and community-led efforts that promote co-stewardship, climate resilience, and adaptation. These grants often support efforts to explore and integrate Indigenous knowledge, participation, and leadership in climate adaptation planning and stewardship activities.


Past grantees include:

  • Desert Research Institute: Great Basin Tribal Alliance

  • Kumeyaay Community College

  • Native Coast Action Network

  • Sacred Places Institute for Indigenous Peoples 

  • Tipey Joa Native Warriors
