CLIMATE SUMMIT

August 27, 2020 | 9:00am - 3:45pm PST | anywhere
From inspiring stories of climate resilience to understanding how climate science is being integrated to inform and test on-the-ground solutions, the 2020 San Diego Climate Summit was an opportunity to showcase the climate hope emanating from our community.
Advancing resilience is dependent on strong partnerships and knowledge-sharing among colleagues, within communities, and between friends - our hope is that this gathering spurred inspiration for the important work that is being done both now and in the future.
The Climate Science Alliance acknowledges the Indigenous peoples on whose traditional territory we work. We honor the continued presence and resilience of Indigenous communities and nations today, and thank those we work with for your friendship and your good will in our efforts to collaborate.
A NOTE ABOUT AFFILIATIONS:
Summit speakers are listed with their primary work affiliation. Many participants have additional affiliations and bring invaluable perspectives gained through lived experiences not associated with their workplace.

fun fact!
By holding the 2020 San Diego Climate Summit virtually, we saved an estimated 12 metric tonnes of CO2 from going into the atmosphere.
This was equivalent to planting 308 trees!
