Parks-4-Kids Initiative-spotlight on Climate Kids

The Climate Science Alliance’s Climate Kids Initiative is participating in San Diego Parks-4-Kids, an initiative that gives kids in San Diego meaningful park experiences! On September 24th, in celebration of National Public Lands Day, The San Diego Foundation and Outdoor Foundation are kicking off Double Your Impact Week. From September 24 through October 1, Outdoor Foundation will match donations up to $1,000 or until each project is fully funded. We invite you to help us spread the word and support the Climate Kids program at http://parks4kids.info/campaign/detail/4688 the week of September 24th. By supporting us, you will help get more young San Diegans outside and join a growing national movement to inspire the next generation to become passionate outdoor stewards and encourage active healthy, lifestyles. Here are some other ways that you can help support San Diego’s kids: 1. Spread the word about San Diego Parks-4-Kids and Double Your Impact Week! You can do so by sending this email, posting on your social channels or both! 2. Use the hashtag #SDParks4Kids and to talk about the initiative and the causes and organizations you support. 3. Visit http://parks4kids.info/campaign/detail/4688 and sandiego.parks4kids.info to stay up-to-date on our progress and learn more about how you can get involved in the San Diego Parks-4-Kids initiative. Thank you for your support!
