Registration is now open for the
2018 San Diego Climate Summit
hosted by the Climate Science Alliance, Scripps Center for Climate Change Impacts and Adaptation and San Diego Gas and Electric.
March 6, 2018
This summit will provide regional environmental leaders with an in-depth look at climate science and related issues, while providing a forum to discuss San Diego’s regional resiliency, built environment, and rich biodiversity. The summit will showcase a new assessment, San Diego County Ecosystems: The Ecological Impacts of Climate Change on a Biodiversity Hotspot, that will be released as part of California's Fourth Climate Assessment. The report features regionally-relevant science that highlights the uniqueness of San Diego and can be used to inform strategies that promote regional resiliency in our natural and built environments. There will also be sessions focused on science communication and outreach.
The Summit will take place on March 6, 2018 at the Robert Paine Scripps Forum. This is a space limited event so please register soon to reserve your spot.
