Apply Today for Our Summer Outreach Internship!

The Climate Science Alliance is seeking a creative, outgoing, and organized individual to join our team in San Diego as a Summer Outreach Intern. Apply today!

The Alliance seeks an outgoing, organized, and self-motivated individual to support our creative outreach programming to connect, inform, and engage our communities to regional climate science. This is an excellent opportunity to gain experience in regional climate resiliency work, as well as copywriting, marketing, science communication, and graphic design. Since the Alliance collaborates with numerous partner organizations, the intern will have the opportunity to learn about and network with some of the best climate resiliency organizations in the South Coast.

The Summer Outreach Intern will report to the Creative Programs Manager and Deputy Director and is expected to assist with:

  • Creative content production, including:

  • blog writing, social media sharing, and graphic design products

  • Community events, as needed

Check out the internship announcement here for more details.

The internship will begin mid-June and end mid-August. Expected to work 16 hours per week, including occasional evenings and weekends. Small stipend available. Intern will receive mileage reimbursement for approved travel to Climate Science Alliance events.
