Climate Kids - Mexico Hosts Workshops and Community Beach Clean-ups

This Spring Climate Kids - Mexico students planned workshops and beach clean-ups alongside Desembólsate BC to help inspire their community to be aware of plastic pollution, climate change, and the actions they could take to make a difference in their community.

This Spring Climate Kids - Mexico students from CBTIS 146 planned workshops and beach clean-ups alongside Desembólsate BC to help inspire their community to be aware of plastic pollution, climate change, and the actions they could take to make a difference in their community.

After receiving training from Desembólsate BC, students took the lead in planning activities to help reduce plastic from the coastlines. These amazing Climate Kids then planned workshops to connect younger students in downtown Tijuana to these important messages about plastic and climate change and how they are impacting the biodiversity of our oceans. Together all the students collaborated in a local beach clean-up to do their part to save the earth and help protect their community. Great job Climate Kids - Mexico!

Climate Kids - Mexico is a collaborative partnership in Tijuana and Northern Baja focused on community-driven outreach, workshops, and environmental stewardship activities led by trained high school ambassadors.
