Our Climate Kids Ambassadors at Mission Bay High School (MBHS), who form the MBHS Eco Club, are joining the Global Climate Strike on Friday, September 20, 2019.
On Friday September 20 and 27, 2019, young people from around the world are inviting their peers and adults to join them in a Global Climate Strike to bring awareness to climate change. In San Diego, students from Mission Bay High School’s (MBHS) Eco Club are joining the strike, staying true to their motto: “From caring comes change”.
The Climate Science Alliance has had the opportunity to work with the youth at Mission Bay High School for multiple years, through a close partnership between our Climate Kids program and the school’s Environmental Science teacher, Steve Walters. As Climate Kids Ambassadors, the MBHS students have inspired communities in San Diego and beyond, as they carry their knowledge and passion to college.
We support our Climate Kids Ambassadors at Mission Bay High School as they bring awareness and inspire action on September 20th.
