The Climate Science Alliance is honored to host the 2020 San Diego Climate Summit on March 27th, 2020 from 8:00 - 4:00 pm at the SDG&E Energy Innovation Center.
The 2020 San Diego Climate Summit will convene local researchers, resource managers, community engagers, and youth leaders to focus on our evolving understanding of regionally specific climate science and how it is informing on the ground solutions that build resilience for people and places. The Climate Science Alliance is excited to have the support of our partners at San Diego Gas & Electric as the 2020 San Diego Climate Summit co-host.
The Summit will include:
New research on regional climate impacts and adaptation strategies that are being tested and implemented in our communities
Youth leaders and a youth-led poster session
Climate Cafe highlighting the work of regional organizations and community engagers
Art Walk featuring local artists addressing climate themes
Evening network reception
How to Apply
Due to the limited capacity of the venue and overwhelming interest in past events, attendance at the 2020 San Diego Climate Summit is by application only. Interested individuals and students (Ages 15-17 with a chaperone) may apply to attend using the form below.
This application does not guarantee attendance - coordinators will contact you with registration information if your application is approved.
