A Great Earth Day Celebration With Sony

Thank you to Sony for inviting Climate Science Alliance to share our climate adaptation work with your San Diego employees in celebration of Earth Day! We appreciated the interest that attendees had in volunteering as a way to give back to the Earth and had lots of conversations about what it means to be good environmental stewards.

Climate Science Alliance enjoyed the opportunity to join Sony on April 23rd 2024! It was a nice day filled with conversations and fun with more than 500 Sony employees.

We talked to attendees about environmental stewardship and we played our new Climate Kids educational game Up, Down, & All Around: the Pathway to Good Fire, as a way to talk about the relationship that plants and animals in Southern California have with fire and the ways that we can be good fire stewards.

We also displayed resources from the new Climate Kids Climate Science & Fire Traveling Trunk. Including a beautiful water color painting of the fire friends and followers in southern California.

There is a Climate Science Alliance tablecloth and large pop up banner. The table features several giveaways, coloring book, soap, clif bars, rainbow pencils.

At our table attendees had the opportunity to sign up for our newsletter, learn about volunteer opportunities, take an informational postcard about our projects, grab a Plant Relatives of the Southern California Desert coloring book, take a sticker or enjoy the giveaways donated by Dr. Bronners.

A big thank you to the Sony for hosting us at your Earth Day celebration event!
