Climate Kids Mexico Team Develops Interactive Hiking Trail

Anna Lucia López-Avedoy, Climate Kids Mexico Project Manager, recently created and led the first tour of a new interpretive trail at Valle de Tempe located in La Misión, Ensenada Baja California. Get a first-hand look at the interpretive trail and the inaugural hike in today’s blog!



Anna Lucia López-Avedoy, Climate Kids Mexico Project Manager, recently created and led the first hike on a new interpretive trail at Valle de Tempe, an ecotourism ranch located in La Misión, Ensenada, Baja California. Developed in collaboration with A La Natouraleza, the interpretive nature trail incorporates the history, perspectives, and immeasurable stewardship efforts of the Kumiai community.


During the inaugural hike, Anna Lucia shared the ¡La vida silvestre, el cambio climático, y tú! Pocket Guide and discussed how climate change is impacting ecosystems and wildlife in the Northern Baja region and beyond, and what we can do to help.

Anna Lucia López-Avedoy, parte integral de Climate Kids México, recientemente creó y lideró la primera caminata por un nuevo sendero interpretativo en Valle de Tempe, un rancho ecoturístico ubicado en La Misión, Ensenada, Baja California. Desarrollado en colaboración con A La Naturaleza, el sendero interpretativo incorpora la historia, las perspectivas y los innumerables esfuerzos de gestión de la comunidad kumiai.


Durante la caminata inaugural, Anna Lucia compartió ¡La vida silvestre, el cambio climático y tú! y discutió cómo el cambio climático está impactando los ecosistemas y la vida silvestre en Baja California y otras regiones, y qué podemos hacer para ayudar.
