Check out the latest project from Climate Kids Washington! Students from the P3 Secondary Science program collaboratively designed a cookbook with recipes promoting sustainability based on lessons learned from the Climate Kids Food Systems trunk.
Students from the Climate Kids Washington team collaborated on a cookbook featuring recipes that promote eating sustainably inspired by the Climate Kids Food Systems trunk. Lessons about pollinators, the importance of local agriculture, and eating fresh fruits and veggies translated into a collection of recipes from students incorporating local ingredients. The book highlights local farms and organizations that community members can support while recreating family favorites, as well as tips for sustainability in the kitchen. Congrats to our amazing teachers and youth that make up the Climate Kids Washington team!
