Climate Science Alliance is proud to announce a partnership with Tipey Joa Native Warriors, a binational organization that works collaboratively with many Indigenous communities South of the US-Mexico border.

Tipey Joa Native Warriors is an international grass-roots organization whose mission is to promote health, cultural preservation, and social justice in indigenous communities. Tipey Joa brings together various indigenous communities, and encourages the outside community to participate in bringing health and wellness through various programs, which include but are not limited to youth empowerment, health, education, language, and cultural events. Tipey Joa works with Yuman groups that include the Kumeyaay nations.

Tipey Joa’s fearless Founder and Director, Ana Gloria (Martha) Rodríguez will also be serving as an advisor to the Binational Working Group. We are excited to collaborate closely to advance binational climate resilience and build long lasting partnerships and friendships that span both sides of the border.
