Climate Science Alliance Team Celebrates Pechanga Earth Day

The Climate Science Alliance team was honored to participate in the Pechanga Earth Day on April 15th, where Climate Kids of all ages read, learned about the Climate Kids Book Club, and made seed paper bookmarks. Thank you to the Pechanga Band of Indians for hosting this wonderful event!

A table and tent set up with banners of the Climate Science Alliance and Climate Kids logos. The tables have art supplies, books, and branded items. A folding sign invites people into the book nook and a person stands smiling behind the tables.

The Pechanga Earth Day, hosted by the Pechanga Band of Indians on April 15th, 2023, was a day of fun, learning, and community.

There was a dunk tank with council members volunteering, cultural crafts, and a raffle with environmentally themed prizes.

A folding sign that says "come make a seed paper bookmark then borrow a book and read in our book nook." Behind the sign is the Climate Kids booth.

The Climate Science Alliance team was honored to attend and host a table where kids of all ages could come and learn about climate change and check out our Book Club resources.

Around 200 youth and adults came to make seed paper bookmarks, read, and hang out in our reading nook.

Thank you to the Pechanga Band of Indians for hosting this wonderful event!
