Face Masks & Shields Distributed to Baja California Communities

Thanks to your donations, over 1,000 face masks and 100 face shields were successfully distributed to communities in Baja California by our partners at Out of the Boat Swim!

UPDATE: As of February 2021, more than 6,000 items of PPE have been donated to those in need.

Climate Science Alliance partners Out of the Boat Swim distributed over 1,000 face masks and 100 face shields to multiple Baja California communities over the past week to increase resilience and capacity during the COVID-19 pandemic.

  • Casa Hogar EUNIME (kids with HIV/AIDS) in Tijuana

  • Casa Hogar Red Binacional de Corazones (Kids rescued from prostitution) in Rosarito

  • Cucapah Tribe in Ejido Cucapah Mayor, Mexicali

  • Kumiai Tribe in San Antonio Necua, El Valle de Guadalupe, Ensenada

  • Out of the Boat Swim volunteers and kids
