Join Tipey Joa Native Warriors and the Climate Science Alliance on Kumeyaay Land at Kendall Frost Marsh Reserve on Thursday October 17, 2024 for hands-on activities and guided walks that celebrate the plants and animals of the marsh.

On behalf of Tipey Joa Native Warriors and the Climate Science Alliance, we are happy to invite you to join us for Kupiihaaw Mataayum (Autumn Gathering) on Kumeyaay Land at Kendall Frost Marsh Reserve on Thursday, October 17th from 2pm-8pm.

Activities:
From 2pm to 5pm:
You will be able to explore self-guided activities, learn about Kumeyaay basket weaving, and get to know the plants and animals found in this area.
There will be hands-on activities, coloring stations, self-guided walks, and the chance to participate in planting native plants as part of the restoration efforts.
From 5pm to 8pm:
The San Diego Bird Alliance will facilitate a guided walk from the Reserve to Crown Point Park where we will gather for the remainder of the evening to enjoy food and storytelling around the fire with Dr. Stanley Rodriguez and Mike Connolly Miskwish.
