Safeguarding Our Biodiversity: Indigenous Peoples and Local Communities (IPLC) Wisdom, Environmental Justice, and Ecosystem Defense Plenary Session

On April 29, 2024, Will Madrigal Jr. (Tribal Capacities and Partnerships Program Manager at the Alliance) and our Cross Border Partnerships Advisor, Ana Gloria (Martha) Rodriguez spoke in a plenary session for the 28th Annual Meeting of the Trilateral Committee for Wildlife and Ecosystem Conservation and Management, held on Kumeyaay Land in San Diego.




On April 29, 2024, Will Madrigal Jr., Tribal Capacities and Partnerships Program Manager, participated as a guest speaker representing the U.S. at the Safeguarding Our Biodiversity: Indigenous Peoples and Local Communities (IPLC) Wisdom, Environmental Justice, and Ecosystem Defense plenary session in which Ana Gloria (Martha) Rodriguez participated with the opening welcome and blessing. This was part of the 28th Annual Meeting of the Canada/Mexico/U.S. Trilateral Committee for Wildlife and Ecosystem Conservation and Management which was held on Kumeyaay Land in San Diego, California.
