In response to rising concerns surrounding COVID-19 and our commitment to hosting the 2022 Southwestern Tribal Climate Change Summit in person, the Summit Planning Team has made the decision to postpone the event until May 2022.
As with other organizations around the world and in our San Diego community, we are taking the necessary steps to help minimize the potential spread of the virus. The health and safety of all Summit attendees, presenters, and location host is our first priority.
We are confident that we will be able to reconvene in person when it is safe and remain steadfastly committed to our partners and our efforts in bringing people together to support Indigenous-led climate adaptation throughout our region and beyond. We deeply appreciate your flexibility and understanding as we navigate this ever-changing landscape and look forward to providing additional updates in the near future.
