The Climate Science Alliance is excited to announce the opportunity to join our team and play an essential role in maintaining and growing the online presence of the Climate Science Alliance and its collaborative efforts as the Media and Communications Fellow. This position is a 3-month, full-time fellowship based in San Diego, California.
The Climate Science Alliance is seeking a passionate and motivated individual to join our team in San Diego as the Media and Communications Fellow. The Fellow will play an essential role in maintaining and growing the online presence of the Climate Science Alliance and its collaborative efforts.
This Fellowship is an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience working collaboratively with diverse partners to creatively and effectively communicate projects focused on climate change science and solutions to broad audiences. This is a three-month, full-time fellowship opportunity, with strong potential of becoming a full-time staff position.
The ideal candidate is someone who is organized, creative, and works well collaboratively.
We seek a Fellow who has experience and interest in developing and sharing creative content on a variety of online platforms.
Position will remain open until filled.
Responsibilities
The Media and Communications Fellow will report to the Director of Communications and has three primary focal areas:
Design creative and impactful content on climate science and solutions.
Coordinate social media and email campaign management to advance engagement.
Support the development of creative projects for partners.
Terms
Position type: Full-time fellowship for three months, with the potential of becoming a full-time staff position.
Compensation: Fellowship salary is $25/hour.
