Laura Tamayo

Creative Content and Engagement Coordinator

Laura Tamayo comes from a place rich in natural biodiversity, Ensenada, Baja California, Mexico. She has a bachelor's degree in design with a holistic approach and a professional career working and collaborating with non-profit organizations in Mexico and the United States. 


Inspired by landscapes, birds and colors, she expresses her creativity through photography, drawing and writing. Through her professional experiences, she has found a calling and purpose in working with projects that enhance our relationship with nature and communities, using her skills in design and communication.


Now living near the coast of San Diego and as a previous Media and Communications Fellow, she joins the Climate Science Alliance team as a Creative Content and Engagement Coordinator, where she is playing a role supporting the outreach of the organization’s projects and partnerships efforts through creativity, content creation, and developing campaign strategies that support engagement goals.
