Laura Tamayo

Media and Communications Fellow

Laura Tamayo comes from a place rich in natural biodiversity, Baja California, Mexico. She has a bachelor's degree in design with a holistic approach and a professional career working and collaborating with non-profit organizations in Mexico and the United States. 


Inspired by landscapes, birds and colors, she expresses her creativity through photography, drawing and writing. Through her professional experiences, she has found a calling and purpose in working with projects that enhance our relationship with nature and communities, using her skills in design and passion to make a positive impact. 


Now living near the coast of San Diego, she joins the Climate Science Alliance team with great enthusiasm to support the communications team with her experience and creativity as the Media and Communications Fellow.
