Pauma Tribal Farms 5K and Gathering

A Tribal Working Group 2023 Small Grants Recipient

About

This event provided programming and meals to approximately 200 local native american participants/ families. The focus on climate change actions, food sovereignty, health cultural traditions and traditional teachings on wellness. With the funding provided by the Small Grants Program the planning committee was able to provide speaker and facilitator stipends to knowledge holders, purchase event T-Shirts and swag, and compensate the drum group and bird singers for sharing their songs.
